25% quota for ‘Students of Karnataka’ In National Law School of India University,Bengaluru

As a result of Bill passed by Karnataka Legislative Assembly,25% of seat reservation in one of the prestigious Law School Of India,National Law School of India University(NLSIU) Bengaluru will be for local students.Any students who has been studying in Karnataka since ten years can avail this reservation.The will be presented in Legislative council and then after the approval of Governor,This law,National Law School Of India ( amendment) bill 2020 will replace the National Law School Of India act 1986.

In the bill,the Government has mentioned ‘students of Karnataka’ instead of ‘Kannadiga Students’ thereby availing this reservation to any student even born in another state who has been studying in Karnataka since 10 years and not only those who are born in Karnataka.

National Law University of Bengaluru is one of the Law College that offers highest number of placement oppurtunities.
