High Court to hear an appeal against Sudarshan TV's questionable show

The channel recorded an extra sworn statement under the watchful eye of the Supreme Court on Sunday saying that it will carefully conform to all the laws while circulating the rest of the scenes of the UPSC arrangement in “Bindas Bol”.

During the last hearing, the top court had said that the cases made by the channel were “tricky” and it likewise cast defamations on the validity of the UPSC tests and was incredible damage to the country.

“Here is one stay who says one specific network is attempting to invade UPSC. Would anything be able to be more tricky (than such cases)? Such changes influence the soundness of the nation and cast defamations on the validity of the UPSC test,” Justice DY Chandrachud, who heads the three-judge seat, had commented on September 15, limiting the station from broadcasting the rest of the scenes of the program.

The seat will on Monday take up the request recorded by a backer Firoz Iqbal Khan.

The channel, in the interim, recorded an extra testimony under the steady gaze of the Supreme Court on Sunday saying that it will carefully conform to all the laws while circulating the rest of the scenes of the UPSC arrangement in “Bindas Bol”.

Sudarshan TV further expressed in the testimony that it will stand and follow the programming code and bearings of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting carefully.

Sudarshan TV has communicated four scenes in the program arrangement “Bindas Bol” at 8:00 pm on September 11, 12, 13, and 14, 2020, and around six additional scenes are staying to be communicated in the program arrangement, the extra affirmation expressed.

The station asked the Supreme Court to lift the stay on the broadcast of residual scenes of the dubious program.
